borg warner t-4 ?

can anyone tell me how hard it is to swap out input shafts on the borg warner t-4 transmissions...I know they arent the best tranmissions just trying to figure out if its worth my time to swap input shafts from one trans to the other or if I should just have the whole thing rebuilt
