Oh, and kudos to the military members there --- watching on the TV footage, military in uniform seem to be more calm and in control than the first responders.
 
Just remember... 90 percent of what you hear on the news today will be unsubstantiated rumors. The more conspiracy-minded of us will latch on to inconsistencies in the early reporting as clear evidence of a cover-up.

Start killing innocent kids and i WILL get pissed off.
 
One of the victims killed was an 8 year old little girl..:( To many babies dying in the US these days. If they aren't being shot or blown up....they are being aborted....it makes me sick. I can't imagine what those parents are going through. Being proud of your little girl finishing a 5k marathon only to have her taken away. Prayers for the families.
 
They are saying that the child that was killed was an 8 year old boy from Gloucester Mass. named Martin Richard, his mother and sister were also severely wounded. His dad was competing in the marathon.
 
So is the government going to ban bombs now? Oh yeah that's right, they're already illegal. Sure didnt stop the asshole that did this.

I have heard about 5 different things since last night....either way boy or girl....still too many kids. I mean dang i heard the other day a teenager shot and killed a baby. Idk what this world is coming to

But I was wrong. I don't know what's going to be revealed to be behind all of this mayhem. One human insect or a poisonous mass of broken sociopaths.

But here's what I DO know. If it's one person or a HUNDRED people, that number is not even a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a percent of the population on this planet. You watch the videos of the carnage and there are people running TOWARDS the destruction to help out... This is a giant planet and we're lucky to live on it but there are prices and penalties incurred for the daily miracle of existence. One of them is, every once in awhile, the wiring of a tiny sliver of the species gets snarled and they're pointed towards darkness.

But the vast majority stands against that darkness and, like white blood cells attacking a virus, they dilute and weaken and eventually wash away the evil doers and, more importantly, the damage they wreak. This is beyond religion or creed or nation. We would not be here if humanity were inherently evil. We'd have eaten ourselves alive long ago.

So when you spot violence, or bigotry, or intolerance or fear or just garden-variety misogyny, hatred or ignorance, just look it in the eye and think, "The good outnumber you, and we always will."
