What brands of lines and fittings are you guys running? I know russel makes quality stuff. Looking for other “cheaper” options. Summit, Jegs, Amazon, etc.... this is for a new buggy build trying to keep everything clean neat and organized.

Thanks!

Picture for an example of the type of line I’m talking about.

I just added a kit to my amazon cart so I wouldn't lose it. Watching for more info.

No complaints out of the Summit fittings, I used Amazon for the hose and Russell fittings because they were cheaper. Summit was stupid easy to search with, made the an brake line stuff easy.

Don't use braided stainless.

X2. That shit is a pain to work with and is awful to work around. I've just about went to all pushlok stuff. So much easier to put together and much nicer to use. Hell, last build I used Parker Pushlok hydraulic hose for everything. I used 3/8 for fuel, transmission cooler, everything. Then you can keep a roll of 3/8 hose with you and it will work everywhere.

Agreed with all of that. Beyond that, after a couple months it starts to look like trash and after a few years of dirt will start to leak under the braiding due to abrasion. Gold braided or push Lok only 4 me.

I’ve used braided a bunch before it’s a bitch, but this new nylon braided stuff I used for my steam-vent stuff was pretty easy to work with.

And I’ve used Russell, Summit, Jegs, and Earls, they are all pretty much the same. The summit and Jegs seem to be of very similar quality and work well with the fancy ones.

Y’all need to come to my braided stainless workshop then. It ain’t that big a deal.

It’s really not bad but I always stab my finger somehow and I’ll have to drink a beer. It’s horrible

Kind of on the same vein, Earls Vapor Guard. Thoughts? I’m about to plumb in an electric fuel pump on the CJ to prepare for a later swap to fuel injection, been thinking about making a full fuel line swap to do it once and done.

Thanks for all the replies, I’ll research the options y’all listed and see what will work the best for my applications. Appreciate it!

I'll use hard line and flare it myself unless I absolutely have to have a flex joint. Fuel, brake, clutch, even PVC lines.
Earl's or fragola are my go to.
