I'm gonna have to buy a brake controller soon. What kinda are yaul using? How much did it cost? How do you like it?

very hard to beat the tekonsha prodigy for the price. the new p3 has some more advanced features, but nothing that the majority of us will ever put to use. you really can't go wrong with any of the tekonsha products though. personally, i have a voyager and a prodigy and couldn't be happier with either.

I recently bought a prodigy off of ebay for 75 shipped. Pretty good deal if you ask me. Haven't been able to use it yet because the old tranny is sitting beside the front wheel of the truck and the new tranny is still at the shop! So no review as of now

Yea I was looking at the P3 but might go with the prodigy to save a few bucks.....I don't need anything fancy. I just want one what works well and is kinda small. I have pretty long legs and don't wanna be kicking it all the time.

Picked up a prodigy for 25 when I bought my trailer

Prodigy here too, very happy with it, like all the settings it has. My first controller was a Redline, from Redneck Trailer Supply in Lincolnton. It's their brand of controller, has adjustments and was very comfortable to tow with. Very much like a prodigy, just wasn't digital, although at the time they did have digital ones available, just for more money.

Nothing says it has to be mounted down in the footwell. Mine is mounted in the center console.

Where do yaul have yours mounted? I have driven a few trucks with them and I end up banging my knees on them.

you won't (or at least shouldn't) be disappointed...

not sure where you got it from, but make sure you look for a harness for your vehicle...others have mentioned that already, but as an FYI I bought mine off Ebay...it has the Prodigy plug on one end, and the factory plug on the other...makes the complete install less than 5 minutes (2 screws, 2 plugs)...

that should make things easy enough
