Brake issue pissing me off

I put discs in the rear of my K5, no biggie. I've done several disc conversions, and I got some brake lines made to fit the '73-'87 K20 calipers that I used, also no biggie. However, I cannot for the life of me get the brake line to stop leaking from around the banjo bolt. It has the standard two brass washers (the thick ones... I've found that those work better since they have the textured rings on them) between the banjo bolt head and brake line end, and brake line end to caliper. It won't stop leaking even though everything seems right!

P.S. - The banjo bolt is tight before anyone tells me that.

Any suggestions please?

Probably copper washers? Are they new? They can get work hardened if they are old and have been crushed several times causing difficulty in sealing.

Try new washers. Also, check and see if the surface on the caliper where the washer sits is smooth or not. I got a rebuilt caliper from autozone once and had to take it back because the surface area was machined very rough and it always leaked around the banjo.

Maddog411 - you're dead on. The machining was rough around where the brake line fitting should sit, making it stick out about 1/64th at the bottom of the fitting, allowing it to leak. I just turned my brake lines around backwards and it's golden.
