brake noise

When i hit bumps or anything driving it seems something to do with brakes are making a clacking noise, The noise goes away if i put a little pressure on the breaks. Any idea what it could be? It hasn't always made the noise

Maybe the pads rattling around in their mounting. Could also be a loose caliper or mounting bracket. Time to pull the wheels and investigate. Loose brake parts is bad.
