Looking for a shop that can make brake lines. Need a new primary line that runs from the MC to the Prop Valve on an 83 Scrambler. Can only find full kits online. Thought maybe a brake specialty shop could make one. Any suggestions?

Why not simple borrow the flare tool and buy the fittings you need and niCopp line and make it yourself? That stuff bends & flares very easily, especially 3/16" line.

I tried 3x to make my own flare on the existing line and it still leaks(!). I think it's the fitting. Dumb question, but where can I get a new fitting? (I asked at AdvanceAuto and they were stumped...)

They got a whole rack of fittings at my advance, right next to the line... Just need to know what type of flare, thread and size you need..

The issue is the untrained uninformed people at the parts store. The parts are there, they just have no clue.

Flare nuts is what they are called should be near the brake line rack in little bags

At worst, buy the shorted line you can with the correct fittings, use those, or evens premise line would work ?
