Ok I have a YJ with a 60 front and 14 bolt rear with 4 wheel disc brakes it has new calipers, new master ,new braided ,brake lines, and new pads . I have bled the brakes until ran 12 32 oz bottles through it it has no prop valve and still has no pedal running . WTF?

Did you bench bleed the master cyl? If not, there's your problem.

bleeders up on the calipers?

Something is moving somewhere. Get someone else to pump the brakes while you inspect each wheel and see where the problem is.

as stupid as it sounds are the caliper bleeders pointed up.they will go on upside down and bleed with no air coming out but still have air in the caliper.

You said "no prop valve"? Hmmm. When you bleed the brakes, place a piece of clear plastic tubing over bleeder valve, must fit snuggly, and other end in a bottle of clean brake fluid. Loosen bleeder valve and slowly pump the pedal. What this does is push out the air into the bottle of brake fluid whereas the bubbles will rise to the top and dissipate. When releasing the pedal, it draws in clean fluid instead of air. You will not get a firm pedal using this method, but as you depress the brake pedal, you can see the air bubbles exiting through the clear tubing. This will tell yoy when all the air is out because the bubbles will disappear eventually(unless it's drawing air elsewhere. Also remember to start with the wheel cylinder furthest away from the master cylinder and work your way up.

I'm wi.th ugly jeep on not enough fluid movement. theres a dodge truck master cylinder that fits the stock booster with very little modification.

Something possibly bending in the brake pedal linkage giving you a soft pedal????

What size hard lines do you have front/rear?

yep, pretty sure master isnt big enuff. Using all yer pedal just to fill the calipers!

x2......i got dana 44's under mine and lost most of the pedal. the brakes still work fine, just don't have much pedal. some use a master off of e-350 ford van.been meaning to try one but haven't gotten around to it.

Search E350 Master Cyl on Pirate. You'll see what you need. 87ish E350 master will work perfectly.

My old YJ had front/rear tons w/discs, no prop valve, stock booster w/ E350 MC. It would throw ya through the windshield when I locked them up.

Easy fix

Agreed, the ford master is the way to go, but
Also, enough vac on yourt booster?
Are you sure the booster diaphram isn't busted or leaking?
when I bled my front calipers I had to remove them, and put a board in between them and bleed them at different angles, off the jeep. even though my bleeder was up top, air got trapped

plenty of vac on the booster .

Ditto on needing a bigger master.
You have added "devices" that allow/require fluid to travel farther in order to operate... esp since there is no prop valve anyore... hence you must have a bigger bore MC to compensate.
Either that or cut a hole in the floor so the pedal can travel farther, hope ya got long legs :driver:

1978 Merc Marquis master was the trick for my YJ. Waggy D44 front converted to ford rotors and waggy calipers and 8.8 rear with stock explorer discs. It is a 1 1/8 master instead of a stock 7/8. It moves more fluid, slightly less of a pedal in a shorter throw. It is a bolt on part. You just have to get adapters for both lines which was easy to find at Autozone. think I spent less than 30 bucks total!
