cant believe A-1 steak sauce :shaking: if a steak is cooked right there should never be a need for steak sauce. A good dry-rub/olive oil brush will make you put that steak sauce crap away, trust me. also to keep your steaks juicy let the meat rest a few min after taking them off the grill, not cutting right into them will retain the juices. NEVER, NEVER cut into your steaks while cooking them, use a thermometer if your not sure (they are cheap) . I feel like this should be common knowledge, but if not hope this will change your lives :flipoff2: or at least your steak eating habits. But on the mao, DUKES baby! its the only one, everything else is salad dressing. Carolina Packards are some bad ass hot dogs, fried in an iron skillet, oh yeah!

hmm, this ought to be interesting...

Rides, Jeep or Ford (trucks only)...
Cereal, Frosted flakes
Milk, don't care, don't drink it
soft drinks, Coke or Sun Drop only, no Pepsi whatsoever...

hiking boots, Italy made Vasque only!
Cell service, US Cellular all the way!
Lawn equipment, Stihl if they make what I'm looking for, Airens mowers
Mayo, Dukes, didn't know there were any other brands...
Dog food, Iams only for Junior...
Cat food, whatever...
Beer, Hinekin, Rolling Rock, or anything German
ice cream, Bryers
energy drink, Red Bull
tires, BFG
fast food, Wendys & Bojangles

I have a lot of loyalties, but with good reason...Coke just tastes better than Pepsi - I don't care what the can says, but I'll be loyal to the taste...same with Sundrop over Dew, etc...
only irrational brand loyalty I can think of is that I still like Adidas over other tennis shoes...They're comfortable and all, but I'm sure other brands are also...

fresh cut steaks, 1.5-2" thick, let sit until at room temp before putting on the grill. Salt, pepper, Garlic powder and Dillweed only. Get grill HOT as you can, or the grate all but touching the coals. 5 minutes on each side don't touch it while on the grill except to flip it and then take it off! Resist the temptation, just don't flip it but once!

Can you tell me why let it rest to room temperature though? AND Can anyone tell me the salt of choice to use on anything (hint, Its NOT table salt.)

My parents provide the food here, so the brands are up to them...

The beer of choice for my father though, IS Milwaukee's Best Light. He consumes the beast regularly, and if it wasnt for me, he wouldn't have ever had any of the tastier more expensive ones in the fridge on any regular basis.

Miracle Whip
Miller Lite
Miller High Life Lite
Little Debbie--fattie cakes(all)
Strawberry w/frosting Pop Tarts
Carolina Packers hot dogs ONLY
Any wheat bread

Also FREE (theres Miller or free beer)
Also the same with food

GM for trucks

and pretty much anything else i can do whatever

Really the only brand loyalites I have are:

Nutro dry dog food
Kong dog toys (only thing the pits won't eat in 5mins.)
3M auto refinisning products
Dupont paints
Sata spray equipment
Sierra bullets (all my rifles will keep a 3 shot group the size of a quarter)

The rest is pretty much up for grabs normally.

As far as vehicular brand loyalties, I can claim none. I have GM, Ford, Dodge, Jeep, Volkswagen, and about half of a Toyota. Although both Dodges and one Chevrolet are for sale, and what's left of the 'yota is going to the scrapyard Friday.
