Breaking Bad

I always plan my weekend around the show.

Contractors at work have to be gone by 7pm so I have time to watch the show. That's the rules! :lol:
 
I watched the first few seasons on Netflix, but it never really hooked me. It was good, but I didn't feel the need to go home and watch 3 episdoes per night to "catch up". I think I lost steam in the thrid season. I watched last night. It was good, but there's a big gap in the story for me.
 
wow, episode last night was crazy....still makes me wonder what in the world is gonna happen. I have an idea based on the first couple of minutes from the show, but I've thought that before and it ends up taking a crazy twist!
 
I'm not sure what the ricin is for that Walt picked up at his old house.

My guess to the season after the 1st episode:

Walt fakes his (and maybe his family's) death. His cancer looks to be in control in the 1st scene (obviously the future). His neighbor is astonished because of who he is and what he has done as Hank likely keeps on the standard DEA mindset and tries to get him caught.
I think he an Jesse just go their separate ways and faking his death he would have no reason to sell out Walt
I'm not sure what the M60 is doing in the trunk of the car yet, I haven't gotten that far in the story. Maybe its part of Vince's somewhat Scarface parody
 
Yeah remember Saul talked to him about an exit strategy. Off the grid, and never being able to come back. I think walt will kill hank. His family leaves and walt has no choice but to disappear, so he fakes his own death, new identity, the whole shabang.
I think Jesse finds out that walt killed Mike, I know he already has an idea.
Honestly though, There are SO many directions this could go. Walt could abandon his own family to get out of the DEA's sight, Lidia could come back and stir up some trouble for Walt. just too many variables...that is why I love this show so much....so many good ways this could go down.
 
I think Walt's fake death (kind of thinking this with the comment to Hank about his cancer coming back) will put his family at ease with tons of $ if she can launder it enough with the car wash and even more if they purchase them. His wife knows about Walt but beyond that, she is clean and gets to keep the $. I'm thinking Walt has a crappy car on the first scene because he is off of the grid and his family has all the $. I'm wondering if the ricin is for Jesse as he may be "talking" and may be trying to give up his family for immunity after Walt's fake death.

Lidia, I think is done next episode and I think its her contacts overseas that take her out. The moving parts are coming apart, she said. The next show is titled "Bearing". I'm guessing this is mostly referencing all of the moving parts and them coming apart.

I don't think Walt takes out Hank, that would be just too much stress on his family. His best choice is for him to leave, i.e., fake his death. While he isn't there for Jr, it gives them the opportunity to have the $$$, which is why he started cooking in the first place. The end goal is the same, the journey is likely way different than he expected.
 
good idea! My only thing is, How will Hank just sit back and let this happen...even if walt takes the exit strategy. I know that there really isn't any mentioning of any other family for hank or maria outside of walt and skylar...so maybe the sob story that walt is giving hank, will allow him to buy some time.
Another interesting thought I heard was, just because walt "looks" somewhat normal...I don't think his cancer is gone....I know that he told Hank that it was back, but I figured he might just be saying that to get hank off his case....The chemo treatments he is taking is what is causing his hair to fall out, but if he is no longer "walter white" then he cant go to his treatments, that would be too easy for people to find him if he did.

I was thinking about it during my lunch...and there are just too many variables still on the table to have any idea of what is going to happen.
Jesse is now my person of interest....it seems he still believes that walt killed mike even though he told him otherwise or something is going on with him.....he is out of the meth business but it seems he is worse after getting out...not wanting to spend the money, being depressed, etc. Makes me wonder if like you said, if the ricin is for Jesse...
 
I just think its weird that Marie is wearing something besides purple for a change (shes wearing yellow) maybe she is pregnant or something
 
My buddy thinks the ricin is for Walt himself after he does a dirty deed.

I think it's for a new character like some Yugoslavian International drug lord who Lydia answers to for a final get down dual to the Browning death.

I thought about the ricin being for himself, but I think Walt would come up with something better than that to go out. because the Ricin would take a couple of days to kill him.
 
I have an idea....I think Jesse is going to help Walt...... I think he is setting Hank up. I think Jesse realizes that even though all the things he has done and all the people that he has taken away from him...he still cares and has actually saved his life 2 times that I can think of in the past.
