He's got something to prove, probably gonna smoke! Wonder who the smart guy was that picked him up early on in the NC4x4 Fantasy Football League :)

I loved watching his career. I thought he really retired this year, and that was a good way to end it. We went out still one of the best in the league. Now, who knows...

The Packers should've brought him back for at least another year. I love how they told him that he would have to compete for the starting job with Aaron Rodgers if he still wanted to play for the Packers. What a joke. One of the top 5 quarterbacks in the history of the league and he has to compete for a starting job. Coming off a pro bowl year to boot. I know he changed his mind and all, but he's Brett Favre if he wants to change his mind he can. I am, however, glad the whole thing is over because they were milking the hell out of that story on sportscenter.

I beleive once you officially retire then come back it only goes downhill from there.. hope he proves me wrong!
 
This is a season long story. I expect we will hear about it all year.
Just wondering if the good ol 'country boy image will change. I already heard him called Broadway Brett, on Sports center.

It's as much or more (or all) sportscenter making this the drama that it is at this point. I'm tired of hearing about it.
 
well didn't Green Bay get a stipulatory draft pick? i saw where, depending on how well the Jets do this season, GB will get a pick ranging from 4th round to 1st round. Guess if ol' Brett tanks, the Pack only gets a measly 4th rounder. I still think he should have called it quits while he was at the top.
 
I wanna know why everyone says "FARVE" when his name is obviously pronounced more like "Fah-vruh"
