On the way to the flats egr cooler blown. But have another truck on the way. Nothings gonna stop us from ecors even if we have to walk we'll be there.

ahh that sucks man....if i was at home id haul ya with the ol 7.3, but not comin home til tomorrow. if you need a hand then let me know.


feel shitty for sayin it but you still gonna be able to grab a couple koozies? i kid......sort of lol
 
I made it and defintly got the koozies would have walked if i had to. It was a great day of racing from u class to the class a showdown great job to all.

Yea was a good time and also good to meet ya'll too. We pulled the truck back to the shop this afternoon so its all over but the wrenching.
 
Jweezy. BigBen, and I stopped in and picked up cgm's truck and brought it to them on our way to the races.

And for some reason.. I completely forgot to tell him, "You shoulda bought a cummins!" :p
 
When you replace the EGR cooler, go ahead and replace the oil cooler...I know its a chunk of change but they faily for one reason and it means the oil cooler is damaged as well. Besides you will be all the way in there...then chcmially flush the hell out of the system before you put the new ones in.

DO NOT RE FILL WITH FORD GOLD OR REGULAR GREEN ANTI FREEZE...or you can repeat the fun again. Get an anti freeze made for and certified for a heavy duty engine. I run Fleetguard Compleat but any coolant carrying a CAT/Cummins approval rating will get you there.

Well my 6.0 made it up and back.. That for stopping by the house guys! Saved us from a hella tow bill lol. whats the word on the truck joe got her knocked out yet?
