Broken line - what is it?

So, I was driving the Jeep the other day and noticed my clutch was losing pressure so I popped the hood open to take a look around the master cylinder and found this broken line that connects to my air intake (i have one of those fancy cold air intakes, installed by previous owner).

Anyway, I need to fix it. I tried searching online to figure out what that black cylinder is but no luck. I'm not much of a mechanic either...

That's a vapor canister. Google says that's an OEM part, full part number 53030242. Probably going to have a pretty difficult time finding a replacement part that isn't a used part.

I'm no Jeep expert, so all I can do is identify what that is, but posting engine and year/model of Jeep will help people sort things out.

Basically, the air filter suck any fumes out of the canister, back into the intake, so the vapors/fumes don't pollute the air. I'd try some rigging on it, with some fittings or nipples. Or even maybe glue it back together, other than replacing the whole canister.

put a piece of heater hose on it.
