Just wondering how many peoples interested in broncos!
If so post some pics!
I have a 95 bronco

I'm a bronco elitist. We rare group of uppity assholes only care for the vintage 66-77 bobtail broncos. Anything after that was too big or too gay (bronco II). Much like the mustangs of the 60's and it's ugly successors (and the mustang II :poop:).

well I have one of the GAY broncos I guess its a 90 b2 with a hp dana 44 front soon to be dana 60 rear and has a efi 302 in it

I have also owned a 86 and a 79 too

I love Broncos! I have an 89 and a 90 BII, but I really love the early Bronco's!! Once I'm no longer a student and can actually afford it, I'm going to buy myself a 66-77. Cuz they're just awesome! Like a jeep, only rarer and much cooler! :D

Bobtail is just something really old bronco guys say, and usually means halfcab or just EB. I was just trying to sound arrogant. Help me out here! :flipoff2:

Bigger, yes. But you can keep the smogged speed density 5.0's, ttb, OJ, and 8.8. Just saying.
I would drive a 78-79 big body with a 400 all day long though.

We do have an 85 with a 4.9 in it at the hunting camp with welded diffs and 32" tsl's that sits in the woods year round, has never been maintained and has had just about every wire/vacuum line eaten by mice that still runs great every time. So they've got their purposes. :flipoff2:
 
I have one of the un-ghey Bronco's, it's a 68 :). Some of the guys from classicbroncos.com are getting together in Feb. If you are interested there is an invite thread on that forum.

I guarantee my BII is 100x better as a daily drive than a 77 Bronco! :driver: :D

Plus, technically I do drive an EB. Like I mean it is the Eddie Bauer edition! ;) hahaha

Possibly true, but a kia sephia won't go offroad for crap! :flipoff2:

Your right, its all relative, BUT a Bronco II is a good all around vehicle. Its small enough and has a short enough wheelbase to be incredibly maneuverable, its got great visibility, its got some of the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in, and it gets reasonable gas mileage (important when you're a broke ass college student! :flipoff2:) and with a 5spd, its actually kinda fun to drive. It does pretty good offroad even in stock form, and they're easy enough to upgrade. Granted it barely has enough power to get out of its own way, but when I want a sports car I'll buy myself an S2000! :flipoff2:
 
lol...yeah, but you upgrade them with EB stuff.

an wasnt a kia one of the 4x4 rags SUV of the year? and i think kia has been winning a bunch of the desert races that the EB used to dominate.

Haha no idea... I just have my doubts that any standard kia could keep up with a Bronco of any sort offroad! :lol:

And not everyone swaps EB stuff under one. All I ever plan to do to mine is either a 4.0 swap, or a 5.0 swap, and an 8.8 rear end.

Anyway, its all relative as was mentioned. Different strokes for different folks! I personally love early Bronco's, but I also have an appreciation for Bronco II's. They're pretty cool for what they were/are, and imo don't quite deserve the bashing that they get from a lot of folks!
 
dont get my wrong, im not hating on the B2s, ive had 3 of them.
 
well i got a 79 bronco with a 460 4spd and a 75 mustang II with a 302 5spd... and if u dont like it u can kiss my azz :flipoff2:
