I am preparing to order a set of one inch lift motor mounts from brown dog. There is a choice of rubber or poly bushings, I know that the rubber is suppose to give less vibes but I am really not concerned with that. Which one would you use or are using and why. Input is appreciated.

I am running brown dog mounts in ecors rig. They are the best set of mounts i have ever owned. I am running the poly mounts and the vibes are not bad at all. Andy makes nice stuff. Not saying to buy one over another. The reason i went with brown dog was that they offered the block mounts also. If your going to run poly mounts i would suggest getting the block plates also.

I have a set of the ultra flex rubber brown dog mounts.....all I can say is this is one of the best upgrades I have done to my jeep....it makes my jeep feel completely different....there is a little bit of vibe at start up and at idle but nothing major.

awesome product and awesome people to deal with.

I have the Brown Dog poly motor mounts and motor plates in both my XJs (ECORS 666 and trail-riding DD). Vibes are not an concern on the racerig, its hard to tell whats vibrating, but on the DD, I might like the rubber better. Keep in mind, the XJ is unibody, TJ's are body-on-frame, there is another level of isolation between the engine and body on a TJ. If you're not concerned with vibes, I'd go poly.
