I had a great time today guys! It was nice to meet more of the wheelers that are on this board. :beer:

i wish i could have been there. i used to ride dirt bikes there. i would love to see some pics of your trip.
 
Had a great time as well. I know Scott (Unlimited) really enjoyed it - esp once he got over the initial nerves of playing with his TJ, and got a feel for what it could do.
This was the first time it's really even been in 4wd, lol.

Looking back, I kinda wish I'd driven my 4Runner just to break up that "Jeep thing". Practically a commercial.

I have a few pics, but my laptop isn't cooperating these days. Will get 'em posted tomorrow.
 
Had a great time. Met lots of good people. Weather turned out perfect for the ride, despite a couple inches of rain the night before.

awspence, I've got a couple of pics of your rig in the mud up past the door sills. But they're on one of those ancient non-digi cams. I'll post em up when I can scan em in.
 
Had a good time, even though they "paved" most of the trail. I know Jared (orange Tj) had a blast in the stock trim.

I figured out the cause of my underhood to start it troubles, bad starter solenoid.
Someone post up some pics when they get them.
Good to meet and/or see everyone again.

The brown mountain trip was SOO MUCH FUN! yeah my jeep is the orange stock TJ that is almost tire high in mud.

With a flat tire and beaten up bumpers i think i got the worst damage for the day:flipoff2:
 
man i hate i missed you guys. we got there late.
parked beside a sharp sand colored dodge cummins.
we ran trails # 4,6,9,10 and the rock garden on 2.
being it was the last day they were open we ran
some of the harder trails (what few they are).
& those trails we ran mostly in 2wd.
had a good time & wish i'd have run into yall. oh well theres allways next time.
by the way all that work they did to the main trail
turned it into a super highway. man you could drive
your street car up there.

Unfortunately.... no. I was just digging through for one.
I had put down the camera to pick up my Mountain Dew. Gotta keep priorities iin life, you know. Forgot I had it 'til later... didn't want to miss the good action.
 
Hmmm. I thought I saw one in someone's hand before coming up the rock. I guess we will just have to do it again when it reopens. :)

I have most of a cage now, and no 3 year old in the passenger seat, so I was able to take some harder lines.

This was on the way off of the rock.
I was trail leading, so most anything you see anyone on, I went through ahead and walked back to spot.:flipoff2:
The only exception would be the new ledge. I didn't feel like having to pop the hood and hotwire the jeep if I stalled it.:lol:
