buggy build

Looking good!!

after taking a few days off,i mounted the seats, orbital, dash bar.
started to assemble the Advanced Adapters dual case adapter and rang box when Fran(V8 pickup) stopped by and we both threw it together in no time flat!
the UPS truck dropped off a nice package of parts today thanks to Alex @ Carolina Truggies,Brandon at Rides aired up some shocks and i purchased some Mud Pro hardware from him.
bullet proof BEARD shafts will be building the drive shafts as soon as i get a measurement.

Very nice looking, I like the look of it.

Thanks Scott,I've done a lot of work in the past two days(just to lazy to take pics)LOL,with any luck it will be painted sat morning and the famous yellow aluminum will be hung for the body.will consist of hood, roof, side panels, and sail panels will be put on(something different).
just not sure of the color for the chassis,BLACK,RED?I'm unsure

it might be 4 sale after completion, and i take it out a few time to make sure it performs good.i have almost enough parts /pieces to build another one.Ill just have to see .

made some progress.still lots of aluminum work to be done.rear shocks needs more nitrogen

you running high pinion toyo 8" in front?
no,just stock low pinion 4:10,its going to have a 2 piece front driveshaft, and has a double t case set up.gives me a great belly clearence.(flat belly from the bellhousing to the rear output flange on the t case.)saw that you picked up a buggy?have any pics?

yeah buggy I got is running exact same setup, I'm having a little bit of an issue with my front driveshaft setup. Its a 2 piece with carrier bearing coming from the dual yota cases. Problem is the angle from the belly to the front low pinion can get steep some times. Problem is that the 2 piece shaft has a slip yoke at the top, and really the slip should be in the shaft itself. The f***ing guy at the driveshaft shop said the slip yoke was a better setup....he was wrong. Anyway I lowered the mount down on the belley as much as I could without interfering with the lower suspension link. Seems to work ok, but with the airshocks, the buggy pitches pretty hard some times, so I will have to see if it becomes an issue. If I can find a high pinion on the cheap, it would probably fix my problems. One thing I have notoiced on mine since both axles are welded its almost impossible to shift my back case into two wheel drive, if you had a locker in the front I imagine it would go in easily. Welded on both ends just seems to put it in a bind:beer:

Brad. while waiting to find a high pinion i was thinking about your lower link there. You think even with the high pinion wouldnt that still be an issue??? Or would it clear no prob? This is Josh by the way.

We will find out , I've got one on the way, might have to raise the mount up to the original location, I', curious if the high pinion will be an issue with my upper link

Wow, that looks great! The only thing I would do is beef up the axle side pan-hard bracket if your not already. I think that spring perch will give too much.

EX....
