So we have always usually found a bug or two in our house from time to time, but this year it seems to be more of a problem. Just about every morning I will find 1-2 of these small worm sized bugs with legs (baby centipede maybe?) on our kitchen floor. Also will find some silverfish around the house too, along with some spiders. I have used the store bought bug spray that you use around the outside of the house, but doesn't seem to be working. Aside from calling someone out, what are some good options? We have a little one crawling/walking around now and I don't want her coming across one of these things.

terminix
or a local bug guy.

its cheap.
You will spend $20 on the DIY stuff at wal mart and when you see more you need another $20.
and you have to do it and worry about if the stuff is safe for the baby and and and....

instead call terminix pay them $99 and they come back in 30 days for free if you see another bug (of course you do)

They have better stuff than you can buy and its safer and you dont have to fawk with it.

This is a no brainer.

Odd, I've been seeing shitwads of millipedes in my house too. Must be something going around...I've just been considering a DIY effort vs. an exterminator. We'll see what happens. (The safe-for-kids thing is what has me wondering which would be best)

Yeah, I have never seen any before this year. Silverfish and spiders is usually what we see.

I use diatomaceous earth. Sprinkle it along all walls and windows, basically the usual bug places. Pet and people safe, rips bugs apart at the joints.

Please elaborate.
The best ish requires a pesticide license to buy.
Since it works you use much lower total quantities than the aerosol can.
Plus they have better delivery methods than the average Joe.

For you, Matt - I have no doubt you would research where to get the premier product, and buy the special install tool that the pros have, order the rey market chem and develop a better solution than your average $15/hr bug guy would ever dream of.

You forgot the part where he sells it for a huge profit once he's done.

Our terminix guy comes out next week at the office, I usually always talk to him about this and that, I'll ask him about it and see if maybe he could be the one to come out and do it.

I have Dodson Pest Control, they come out out every other month and spray around the house and come in the house about twice a year. I never see them or deal with them. I get a call to let me know they’re coming before hand and have no issues.

I am good friend with the GM of the Greensboro location. Very happy with their service and no bugs or rodents.
