Okay I love deer hunting, all aspects of it. My 2 little boys are also getting into the sport, my oldest (10) shot a button head buck last year his 1st deer. Since I love taking my boys so much I need a blind big enough for all 3 of us. So I bought an old bumper pull camper. The inside has already been gutted. Has anybody else done this? I need some ideas

If you have land to stick it on carefully pick a spot w a nice view and hopefully where you can access it easily/quietly and remove brush for shooting lanes. I'd get it out there soon so the deer can get used to seeing it and start putting some corn out too. Fix it so it's stable and quiet when you move around in it. I'd carpet the floor and get some comfy chairs for each shooting position on all 4 sides, maybe an old couch for sleepyheads too. I'd skip painting the outside but maybe lean some brush against it. I would also add a V shooting rest to the windows/openings to help steady the youngsters shots and have the muzzle outside when you shoot and some way to secure the guns for safe, fast access. You might want some curtains so you can block your movement from the deer or board up the top half or so of big windows so you have a wide, short opening. Post some pics of your rolling blind i'd enjoy seeing it when it's done.

If you can get it in the air do it. Doesn't matter if it's only 8' it wil help. My friends in PA have been putting up water storage tanks, 12-20' in the air. Big enough for 4 guys if you wanted, with heat and a stove. I took two monster does last season from those stands. It was snowing and about 15degrees. I had a ball cap on and no gloves, I couldn't stop smiling. Here's a few pics, one with my friend in front of the heat, lol.

I'm putting it where my old tent type blind is. Always kill 4-5 deer a season there. Being where it is in the air would be hard.
