Bullet Liner of Raleigh?

@vikinghug

I’ll let you know what I think later this week…. I have an appointment on 9/9 (corrected date!) for them to shoot my truck bed. If you’d like to see it in person, I’m happy to meet you one day over lunch (work in RTP).

You’re right though - reviews are very positive.

Backstory is that the founder of LineX sold LineX and developed a superior product during his non-compete period. That has since expired and… game on! The Bullet Liner guy said they shoot dump trucks and other commercial trucks with awesome durability.

A little more elaboration on my BL of Raleigh experience

Roy (owner) scheduled my appointment and worked his schedule to accommodate my waiting for the job to be done. My truck (aluminum bed) was used and was showing bare met in a bunch of spots. Roy quickly identified them as problem areas b/c spray-in liners won’t adhere well to bare aluminum. That spot will firm an air bubble and pop off (warranty void if sprayed on bare aluminum).

We agreed to have him shoot an etching primer on the bed before bedliner. They prepped the bed by removing all hardware (except bed bolts), scuffed the entire surface, masked off and covered all non-lined surfaces and had a “veil” to isolate the cab.

Total time there would have been 2.5hrs, but the priming step added an hour. Final finish is amazing. There’s a slight sheen that will fade after fully curing. I’m thrilled with the final results!
