Thinking about picking up A 6.0, anyone know of a good Place to get one bulletproofed ? Not just studs and egr delete. Thanks

Bulletproofing is a marketing term, it by no means will guarantee you wont have a problem again. The valvetrain geometry and high pressure oil system are still large issues.
Basically
-egr delete
-exhaust
-newer design oil cooler
-head studs
-machine and oring the heads
-all new gaskets to do the head job
-tuning for egr delete

I not sure much of that is available now that the EPA has started crackin down.

Thanks stuntman , looks like I will have to pass on the 6.0 . I have never messed with them and thought a lot could be fixed but I guess not.

Many places still sell all the stuff. It’s just sold under the disclaimer for “off road use only”

As far as a shop to have the work done, I highly recommend Minton's Automotive in Granite Falls NC. Give them a call, ask for David. He's done a lot of them, even his own truck.

I would not recommend Tesla for bulletproofing

I know it was covered in another thread, but the window did it's job, kept the projectile out. Not sure about a bullet but is steel ball proof!
