YO? Thanks! What Anyone should have done! Too many Pussies ,just stand around.

Turns out the kid got suspended from school and kicked off the football team for punching the bully.
Even mild autism can lead to social miscues and awkwardness. The individual with autism could have been play fighting in another group, and transfered that as socially acceptable in all situations. If the person beating on him didn't understand the condition, he could have taken it seriously.if you dig through through the comments, some folks from the school say the "blind kid" is actually old partially blind, and mildly autistic - and he's the one who started the fight, knew what he was doing. Hence why so many people standing around watching.
3 sides to every story...
who the fuck knows. All I know is, that kid went down HARD. Ouch.

Granted this is all purely conjecture. We weren't there, we don't know the whole story. Whether it was social miscues, or fully understood, the "bully" still shouldn't have done what he did, end of story. Fighting with those that have any sort of disability is just unacceptable, at any level of severity. I'm gonna get off my soap box before I get too involved and piss someone off.
My $.02, dude throwing punches got what he deserved. Dude that took him out, as far as school setting goes, got his just punishment too. That said, I wish more people, including adults, had the same guts of this kid to stand up for those with disabilities.
I don't agree with that. These idiots with their idiotic "no tolerance" crap....they'll claim "we can't make an exception, these are the rules".
Well, yes you CAN damn well make an exception. You have a brain, USE IT. You don't have to just blindly go "he broke the rules, even though it was in a good way, he must be punished". B.S. Use your head for something besides a hat rack. You should not be subject to being suspended for defending someone like that. The principal should have said "we don't condone violence in our schools, but we will not suspend this kid for clearly protecting one of our disabled students". Period, end of story if he does that. Hell, everyone would love the principal if he had done that.

Say for instance your walking down the sidewalk and you see some guy beating on his wife. You run over all good samaritan, and knock the guy out. He can legally press charges on you for assault and hold you financially liable for any medical bills. Would it be wrong to do, shit no he deserves it. Does that make it safe, no. Pulling him off her and letting him take the first swing, better choice because then it's self defense.
Same as this situation, kid doing the knocking out needs to learn actions have repercussions. I'm not saying the knocked out kid didn't deserve it, he did. I'm also not saying that the knocker outer did the wrong thing, just could have been done better to avoid punishment.
At the same time, any member of his family could sue you for wrongful death. Whether it succeeds or not doesn't matter, you still get sued and it costs you a bunch of money. If you had a concealed carry, you'd be within your rights to shoot the guy beating his wife to protect her. (depending which state you're in) Shouldn't be any different if you decided to use your fists instead of your pistol.
