About 2 months ago, I needed an OEM E-locker for a Sterling 10.5. I searched online and found the best price from a retailer called Ford Parts Giant. They were around $250 cheaper than other sellers so I pulled the trigger.

Sweet! Saved a few bucks and getting an OEM Ford part. A week goes by, @Mulishajoe happened to be in town and was hanging with me at the shop when UPS stopped by with the order. I braced myself for a 75# carrier but the box was super light.
I opened it up and found this

A genuine "Turbone" turbo in an unmarked box (no part numbers) and definitely NOT a Ford part.
Me and Joe chuckled an said we should put it on the Sami.
I called FPG and told the CSR rep the story. They said send pics of the box, the part, the part number on the part, etc.
So I did. Said they would forward to their Returns Dept for approval.
2 weeks go by of getting the run around. No striaght answers. Getting a bad vibe about it. I order the E-locker from local dealer for $1300 (ouch!) and finish the gear job.
Finally they send me a RGA code and return label. I ship it back, it arrives next day. Another week goes by w/o a refund.
I call the CSR dooder who has a very distinct middle east accent. We agree to hate each other. But I'll go away once I get my refund.
I get the following email that my claim was denied since the package was opened and non-returnable. I told him it was opened because they required a photo of the part number on the part itself.
Too bad, yankee. Read our return policy. You're screwed.
I demaned a refund directly before I called my CC company on a fraud claim. They shipped the turbo BACK to me, unannounced and not requested.
I ended up getting my credit card company involved and was refunded the $945.
After the fact I checked up on FPG and this is status quo for them. Sell a part, ship something totally different, then refuse the return.

On a good note, I have a sweet little POS Turbone here to put on something. Maybe a forklift?
Head's up to anyone who take a gamble ordering from them.

Dang, I’m always skeptical of the online oem stores. Most are just dealers running an online store for cheaper. But with knockoff parts now I’m scared. But never thought about this mess.

They use OEM diagrams and everything.
But when you notice, their website says in a few places "Not affiliated with FOMOCO"
