Should I have any concerns about buying a used car (2010) that has been in Wilmington its entire life? Is rust a concern?

I bought an explorer that spent most of its life at Myrtle Beach. Much older than you're talking ('92 bought in '06). There was corrosion on pretty much everything under the hood. The body looked good at first glance, but one hit to the rockers and they crumbled.

Also bought a '94 XJ in '11 that spent it's life there. Body/paint looked like crap but was solid. Only rust was rear passenger floor pan over the cat.

Never lived on the coast, but have vacationed, From Kurie Beach, to Fort Fisher, & the Kill Devil Hills area. Weather my Trail Jeep, or tow rig, everyday, would have a fine film of salt spray, just sitting in the Parking Lot, from the air, & Dew!
