buying a truck out of state. . .

Ive never bought from a out of state dealer or with a loan from the bank, I've always paid cash to private owners and took the title to the dmv. . .

How does the process work if the truck was:
*Bought at a tn/sc dealership
*A loan

Does the dealer take care of everthing?
 
If you are buying from a dealership..yeah they will have people to do it.

That said I think your old way is a better way.
 
Honestly, in my experience buying out of state is easier, unless the dmv wants to rape you twice for taxes.
 
Last yota I bought came from SC, paid less for transfer of title. Than I ever did for one bought here in NC, and didn't need an inspection for 1yr. All I needed was the title and bill of sale.
