Wondering if anyone has bought a phone off amazon.com?

I am upgrading this month to a droid X2. I cant get the phone from amazon for about $100 less than at verizon store. I see where you have to provide your verizon account info. Just wondering if had any difficulties upgrading this way

The only thing with going that route is that Verizon will not warranty the phone. If you have any issues with it or break it, you would have to send it back to the amazon dealer and deal with all that. You couldn't just take it to your local Verizon store.

I didnt think about that. Im kinmda hard on phone, but dont usually kill them. But I will consider that heavily. saving a lil money could be a bigger headache than I wanna deal with later

Hmmm, I think my decision just got made for me. I went throught the check out process and it turns out since this is an annaul upgrade not a 20 month or whatever the price will be the same as at verizon. That is if I done it right

No phones, but I've ordered several air cards off Amazon. Activated them on Verizon's website.

If not to late, check with Best Buy. I just bought an Android from them and it was $100 cheaper than sprint store. I got Best Buys insurance for $10 a month with unlimited replacements.

X2 they have by far the best warranty program for a cell phone I've ever used. They even offer a loaner phone with a $50 refundable deposit.
