Ihave a 84 chevy k10 that the cab bolts are seized and are going to wring off . My cab bushings are shot have to be replaced so I've got to remove them. If I wring them off I need to know how to get the broken bolt out of cab the easiest.
Thanks for any help

heat

pb blaster and liquid wrench heavily before doing anything, heat, uscrew a couple turn, apply more pb blaster, tighten back, re-loosen, and lots of heat, but try to heat the nut around the bolt and not the bolt. When we changed out all the ones on the suburban, IIRC, we had to cut a hole in the frame at a couple points b/c the nut on the inside of the frame broke loose and we had to get to it to hold it.

If you do break them off, then get some female bolt extractors or get busy w/ some vise grips.and it that doesn't work then its drill time.

if you heat the heads of the bolts conductance will take care of the rest....but Id pull carpet inside before breaking out the hot hammer
