The internet price went up again along with my cable bill. $90for web and cable finally got to me so I canceled them all but basic cable, which is only 16 channels for $30 bucks. Now I'm going to cancel the whole thing. My brother has more channels in the garage from rabbit ears.

So I guess the ? is who has the best deal? I hate dish when it rains and they don't offer web but they seem to have the best price on tv service. How much are you paying?

We have charter, about the same price for same service. Half of the channels are not worth watching. Thank God I have web on my phone.

$40 for the middle speed rr, no cable. Have a cheap desktop hooked to all 3 tv's. Netflix, youtube, hd antenna, and torrents = FU $140 a month time warner bill.

$85/mo for directv, which I like, just hate the cost. $40/mo for 3mbps ATT DSL, which is all that is available in my neck of the woods.

37.45 a month for 24mb DSL for a year and I have a roku2 box in the living room and bedroom. 200+ channels and netflix/hulu/HBO on demand ect. Plus I download tons if torrents at work. Haha

Charter customer service is actually extremely good now. Normally when my bill goes up because of an expiring deal or some new added tax, I just call, complain a little, and they set me up.

Had an issue with my router and internet connection back in..May? April? somewhere around there. Cable guy came out, but he never came to my door, and was working on the box that was NOT for our house, then he left. I called them to see whats up and the customer service guy was really upset that no one came out at the scheduled time, he called our local Charter Branch and told me they claimed they had some meeting during the scheduled time (the customer service rep even told me he thought that was total bullshit).

Anyways, long story short, the rep gave me free HBO, Cinemax, and Starz for a year, just because of one little screwup that really didn't impact me one bit.

The key with charter is to keep constant tab on your bill, and call them immediately if it goes anywhere. Ive had the same bill price for going on 2 and a half years now.

charted fastest internet/ locked in at $35 a month, netflix & z-movies

ATT 6.0 DSL. $45 a month. And its pretty fast and reliable.

I just canceled DirectTV because of price. I have a large library of movies and TV series and Netflix.

Last year sometime I called Directv and told them I wanted to cancel my service and switch to Dish because Dish's prices were so much lower. They knocked $20 off my bill for a year so I stayed. Then I had a friend sign up for Direct and he gave them my acct number, and that got me another $10 off my bill for 10 months. Now I've got another friend signed up under my account, and another $10 off per month. As long as I can keep finding people to sign up, I'm satisfied. If not, I'll call and see what they can do on the price. If that's nothing, then so long Directv.

I really wish I had another option for internet other than ATT DSL.

I signed up for direct after talking to sales rep. When they sent me confirmation email the #'s were different. I called back and canceled and am pursuing the rep that lied to me about the contract. I was told the total would be good for 24 months, not 12 then go up. I am so pissed that they lied in hopes that I would not read the fine print. If it weren't for my wife I would just have rabbit ears (like before we got married) of it were my decision. TV is way over priced. If you really think about it, there is only about 8 channels that are watched that they provide, everything else is available for free over the air waves. The only thing I would miss is Monday night football, but I can go to the Fd and watch that.

i wish I had these problems, only thing I can get way out in BFE where I live is "Cable TV" yes thats the name of it! Has a total monopoly on the area except for satellite stuff. It Blows... I pay $80 a month for weak barely better than basic Cable and pathetic "cable" (more like fast dial-up) internet. I would give almost anything to have Charter or anything else take over this area!! They'd have thousands of new customers if they did!
