Nearing the end of a roll cage install on the 75 K5. I want to pad the cage in the potential head bumping areas. The SFI approved stuff seems to be described as stiffer….for use with helmets. I don’t plan to wear a helmet so looking for something softer. This is definitely a trail rig. Thoughts on SFI vs pool noodles vs pipe insulation vs anything else?? Want it to be safe for sure.

Ran "koosies" for years, then went to "rollbar" padding (one version is smooth/slick on the outside, the other is more like a pool noodle)...

"Something" is better than nothing...
bare tube will open your gourd like a grape when contacted...
koosies/pipe insulation will still net a vicious headache...
and IMHO, "rollbar padding" (the hole offset, so the thick side to contact point) is magnitudes better than above
