Callalantee 8/19

i found the website. is it a good place to go? are the trails challenging?

There are some challenging obstacles. Several rock gardens that no one has been thru yet without winching, as far as I know. Even the buggies had to winch. Trails right off of the main camp. Has shower house, primitive camping or full hook up, very close to town for those items you may forget. Best part is that it's only 30 mins outside of Boone.

sweat

is soon as i get done with the rockwells i will have to check it out.

Not sure which ones you are referring to here, but the one next to LT (shown in the pics) was conquered by a yota with an Exo and 42" Iroks... Of course I know there are more rock gardens out there.

Had a blast up there this past weekend. It was nice to meet all of you, and thanks for showing us around.

And for the record, yes I flopped again, pulled cable to right myself, then proceeded to run "pull cable" without anymore issues. Yes MW87toy was spotting. I had plenty of time to hit reverse, but I was testing to see how well I had everything tied down in the jeep, I only had 1 thing fall out and hit the ground. No more yardsales.

Yall be sure and hit me up when yall are going back out there.

travis call jim, maby he can mount some wheels on the side of yuur jeep
Look who came outta left field bringing the funny.

Seriously, I hadn't thought of tires on the side yet.:flipoff2:

You need to come ride again sometime soon, I haven't laughed uncontrollably lately.

Nice videos. Definitely going to have to check this place out.

Man, I have been there before. Happened to me on Daniel almost two years ago. We had to ride in to Troy and get a rebuilt steering box from Advance and change it out so I could drive it home. Finished it up in the dark on Sunday night in the parking lot at the bottom of Daniel. How did you get out of the woods?

On a strap behind Mountian Ram. I was in the back of the group, so I didn't get to see how well it tracked the ram.

It did not track well at all... At one point he hit a stump and I almost jerked him onto his side!! We got it to a point (after about a mile) where we could load it onto a trailer and tow it out.

Metal Head- Great videos!! I want a full size copy!!

hey i remember seeing your bronco in the plot that sunday morning.

Yeah, that was a great day. I posted about it on some other boards. Most people said to get hydraulic assist, but I wasn't in a bind when it broke and generally don't need hydraulic. One guy asked it my TRE on the drag link gets in a bind. It does big time when I flex. It's hard to put it on when it's on level ground just because of the angle. I will have 1.25" DOM tube with chevy TRE's on high steer arms Monday, then off to Tellico next weekend.
