I was looking at going on the 16th, just hadnt posted yet.

i would go, but i have a feeling my jeep may not be up for it? are there many trails there of uwharrie type difficulty and just a little harder? i would love to find someone to ride with that would be up for some easier trails, i have a feeling most of the ones posting in this thread would get bored of that pretty quick, but ive only got one locker and 30s

anyone up for that?

You can ride it all. The hard stuff has bypasses and I've had stockers with no lockers get by with only a tug now and then! I might be up, my son graduated today from App and I think I am bringing his stuff back that Sat.
 
so is anyone going? if what CYJKrawler says is true id like to wheel, i will be in wilkesboro sat morning so im sure someone will be passing through there

i still want to go. i am going to try to be at the camp at 9am on sat. it would be nice to have a tour guide.
 
It's looking better and better for me. 85% sure I'm going. Will know for sure after the Final '06 URE run tomorrow. aw, I'll see you tomorrow :)
 
Me and awspence for sure. Planning to be at the campground around 9-9:30 unless there is a different plan. Anyone else, it's going to be great conditions :)
 
I may try and make this..i just don't know my way around that place at all..anyone who's going mind a tag along so I'll have a clue where to go. I have stuff to do Sat. night so I'll be cutting out around 4 or so.
 
i have no clue either, but im fairly certain that CYJKrawler knows his way around the place pretty good, youre welcome to meet us
 
When we went up there in August we used Galen's map and it is much more helpful than old one that they handed out at the shack where you pay at. We actually were able to navigate to where we wanted to go without getting lost once. That was a first for me and the dozen or so trips I have made up there in the last few years.

I'll print it and I'll let you know 100% this evening if I'm in. I'm going to test mine out at DPG today to make sure everything is ok before I make the drive on Sat.

Blow off Sat. night plans, and lets see if we can break a r&p at Windrock.

Son and I talked to CYJCrawler Yesterday at URE ---We are Thinking about Coming----If we can get a few things Dunn to the truck----------:driver: Not sure if our Little Yota can keep UP!!!

Question is, what will YOU be driving :), gonna bring on the CJ ? I'm leaving the house at 6:30, meeting Toyota Dad on 421 and hooking up with awspence in Wilksboro at 8. Should be at the campground by 9:15 or so.
