Callalantee March 4th

That's what some folk said, but wheeling better that not wheeling. What you doing? Come play. PJ, Cassidy, and I--maybe my cousin in his TJ on 39's are going.

I probably would if it were Sat. but oh well. It would be a good ideah to wear a rainsuit, anything fenderless is going to have a VERY wet day. Should be interesting....

It's just about 30 minutes from me, and I consider that too far to go
I would come up and ride with you all but it's going to be too wet for me, if you all ever go back I'll ride with ya. Your going to Harlan the end of the month aren't you?

We are planning on leaving the Winston-Salam area around
7am. We should be there by 9:30-10:00. Come on and play. Give me a call if ya want--336-971-0896.

bjack--your to lazy to drive 30min to wheel. Come on. I'll make you all wet when we get in the woods. And yes we are planning on Harlan the end of the month. Rock race at DPG on the 24th also---be there.

You just say that because you know how easy it is to get me wet. I would love to go to DPG, just don't know if I can get away 2 weekends in a row, especially this time of year.

you'll get bored.

With the right trail guide, you'll have a blast. Alan Abbott showed us some gardens that were 5+

Not that I could ever find them again.... but he drove right to um..... I threw a rod trying to pull a YJ on 42 Irocks out after he jumped the timing chain on a 383.....

Those rock gardens were all we wanted and then some. Were talking big blocks and 44's with rear steer.....

i agree. the garden hes talkin about was cleared by us (AORC) and nobody has made it to the top yet.

Damn, got lost half the day. Snowed on us half the day and it was cold as shat. We finally found the Welder trail and did it. It was pretty cool. Then I think we came up on that rock garden you are talking about. It was getting dark on us, so we tried it in the dark. I made it half way and then got denied. PJ made it to the top. I would go back now that I know where some rocks are at. Cassidy went also and broke has sammi t-case---no good!!! I broke a valve stem.

Chris

Was it that rock garden at the end of the creek trail? I did it without too much trouble and Mike did it after he tried for a pretty good while.

it was not at the end of a creek trail ,it was sorta off the main trail after it splits to the rt,and then it was on the rt. it also had a return down like 15 ft over on the left as you went up. for anyone who has been up their, i think it was on either the faded duct tape trail or the old tin can nailed to a tree trail...

Where is it?

at the very back of the park. waaaay back as far as you can go. check the map.

you were on pullcable, the trail adjacent to it is little tellico, you were on the orange trail.

yeah creek trail = armour all. you really arent sopposed to be on that trail from what i have heard (EPA stuff) but people still ride it. once u go a few times and get to know the place its a blast, ive been there plenty and am still finding new trails
