A few (3 rigs committed) of us are planning a day trip to ride at Callalantee this Friday September 30. We should be at the Campground by 10:00 AM. Anyone else who is available and would like to ride is welcome to join us.
We had a long and eventful day at Callanatee. JC, Witchdocroe, Yellowjeepcj, up_n_over, a visiting wheeler from Colorado and Jr. Dean.
We made the top of the Top of The World loop and back down to the entrance to Welder for lunch. After lunch we traveled Welder to Easy Out. About 2 PM when the problems began and we did not get back to the campground until 7 PM. Then Supper and a blow out on two of three of the trailers, leaving one along the way for today's project, we arrived home 3 minutes before midnight.
i wondered where yall was at when we left chillis.i hope up-over was not one of the flats,he had enough trouble for one day. i didn't mean to run off and leave yall.had a good time even with all the adventure of getting a three wheeled monster off the mountain.hope to get together again soon.
We were behind you coming down the mtn out of Blowing Rock. You put it in the wind when you hit the flat. We were caught behind some traffic and trying to stay together. Yes, up_n_over was one of the flats and no spare we left his trailer and rig exit 39 just south of I-40 interchange. I had the other one near Gastonia.
