Camera system earned me a $50 yesterday

Just thought I'd share a smile for the day for I've laughed pretty hard.

Neighbor texted me pics of our mailboxes demolished. Actually mine wasn't even attached to begin with (been meaning to throw a couple screws in it) so it was just crumpled on the ground. Their post was gone. Said they called Duke Energy cause they witnessed it happen. D-E immediately blamed it on 4 wheelers riding around yesterday and refused any money til we showed proof. I emailed him the frames of it this morning and settled for a $50.:smokin: Think they got more for their post. Got almost a new box been on top shelf in my shop for years waiting on this to happen... :rockon:
 
We lived on a dead end road w no circle in Morrisville for some years. Waste Industries picked up garbage from a few of the neighbors and broke the rcp under our gravel drive, backing the big compactor truck into our driveway to turn around and leaving a big hole. I called them and told a supervisor about it, and that they needed to repair it. He called back and said the drivers said they do not back into my driveway. I told him they are full of shit and why would you believe them but not me? 2 weeks later I heard the backup beeper on the truck, picked up a camera and took a sweet pic of their truck backed up into our driveway.......then I called back and told the super I had a pic of the truck in my driveway and asked who I needed to show the pic to. They got the town to fix it a few days later.
 
Yeah, it seems few and far in between that someone will own up to something, no matter the circumstance. That's like running into someones car in the parking lot and leaving without notifying them at all. Complete bs.
 
On the other side, UPS & others wont touch my gravel circle driveway. They park in the street, on a blind hill. I had Salvation Army pick up my used refrigerator once. They too parked on the street, & had a regular hand truck with narrow solid tires. Frigd had to go out my side door, & around the house, up the gravel drive. I Told them to pull in, but they politely refused!
