I love jeeps ive had them all my life and ive been needing a small truck so what better than a Comanche. I searched a very long time to find the right mj as my idea is to copy my tj and build a 1 ton mj one day. I found a little red mj to start with but run across a smoking deal on a 89 that had a full 99 Cherokee conversion and a small lift on 33's. So I sold little red and picked these truck up. It had several issues as soon as I got it off the trailer that I didn't realize it had. Worse being death wobble you couldn't drive over 45 without loosing control. While the problem was part trac bar part steering I decide to change everything on the front end start with a Hp dana30 non disco fully rebuilt, MOOG trac bar and a jrc 3/4 steering death wobble fixed.

After I got it fixed were I could drive it I ordered front and rear jrc bumpers, changed the paint and put hids in it. I love these little truck but it is def going to be a slow project. Its my first unibody and I didn't realize just how low these truck is even with a 2" budget boost. First time in the woods i crushed the pas side rocker in so march im going to address the offroad issues these truck has. Starting with a 4.5 rc long arm going to change the dana 35 to a 44 with a Detroit (sitten in barn) put a sway bar back on plate the frame and cut the rockers out and put 2x6x3/16 back in for sliders.

Hold off on the rough country long arm. I am pretty sure in the near future there will be a MarsFab long arm kit available for the xj and mj.

I was suppose to go by Chris to let him weld up my rear hylines and I was going to ask him about that plus it's going to need a cage soon. But of course I had to work....

He is starting the prototype on my xj monday. It will be a modified version of what we ran on my Ecors race jeep.
