Looking for some songs to learn to pick while sitting arounds a fire, camping or wheeling... Give me some input. I know a lot of old Hank, Merle, avett bros, and some other songs etc but drawing a blank on new tunes to learn!!!

I always go to youtube and just put in Acoustic Cover.I get a lot of Ideas,I learned Hey Ya,a breaking benjamin song and an acoustic version of a lady Gaga song.None of those are songs I would have probably ever picked to learn.

Nice, yeah 80's rock is hard to touch IMO... at the URE camping trip recently we just played a bunch of Skynyrd though.

I know a good bit of old crow and I know "hey ya" as well!!! Fun tunes! Still Drivers is a good call. I learned "Gin and Juice" last night. Keep'em coming.

I have also found that Tenacious D goes over pretty well with a camp fire and a:beer::beer:.I also like to play a little Rodney Carrington!

Here are a few easy ones that I can share chords with...
these songs are mostly 1 4 & 5

Dead flowers by the stones
Folsom prison blues
a friend of the devil
angel from Montgomery & in spite of our selves john prine
Bobby McGee
I know you rider
long black veil (maybe too sad)
pirate looks at 40 (maybe too old)
poncho & lefty
the road goes on forever (if you have enough breath)
Salty dog blues
