Camping take jeep or camper?

It is almost time for me to get back at it and I have one last week to get out out a little bit .Perplexed on should I take the camper out for a few days or take the XJ and hit some forest service roads in the mountains and trail side camp? Yes I know we are expecting rain all week. Just looking to relax sit by the fire . Just me no wife or dog,what would you do and where would you go?

X3 as far up the mtn or down the river I can make it! Move each day to new site unless ones worth staying longer!
