can a 97 tj be tagged in here in NC

i maybe getting a 97 jeep tj with a Chevy 350 on propane my ?? is can i get it tagged & inspected to be able to drive it on the road here in NC ( NOT GOING TO BE A DD)

Doubt it, unless the obd is functioning and the motor is from a 97 or newer vehicle.

I would think you'd be able to get it to work. Propane is a clean burn fuel, unlike gas. I'd imagine that there would be some sort of loophole you can use?

I think Davie co is also safty only. But I'm sure sooner or later those counties will go to the obd2 test for the increase in revenue.
