Ok im going to be swaping a dana 44 into the front of my 1990 Xj. Anyone out there that can make some weld on coil buckets for me, i know RE makes a kit but its like $400 and im trying to do this on as much of budget as i can. Or anyone that has made some can tell me how to make them?

You can buy just the coil buckets from RE.

Or, I dont have any in stock but I sell a generic coil bucket w/ retainer. With my coil buckets though, you would have to fab shock mounts since the factory buckets have the provision for the lower shock mount built in.

Andy at CRS generally has them in stock...not sure if they're the RE buckets or ones he gets cut locally...

give him a call and see what he has...

Are you using a ford axle? If it had radius arms you can use them. I took mine and redrilled the way they attach to the radius arms. Now I have to make some support for the axle portion. Heres the example of mine

Probably nearly half my truck was fabbed up using Ballistic parts. I have spent a ton of money there, about started to vendor some stuff for them but didn't get around to it. I would highly recommend them for sure.

Probably can't see the bucket super good in this picture, but its about as close as I have. Good thing about them is they have holes to bolt the bucket together to mock it up so you don't weld it and have to cut it off and start over.
