Can anyone lower a 72 chevy step side

maybe, just maybe if you'd post in the vendor referal section instead of cross posting to chit chat AND gt you might have better luck......

but BTW lower and bag...a 2wd?
Are you channeling the tub?
 
Is the truck coil spring in the rear? If it is it should be a fairly bolt on situation. You will have to relocate the shocks in the front if they are in the center of the spring. Ck out airride specialties, and just like everything else you get what you pay for!
 
how low re you wanting to go? are you just wanting bags and it lower? you could probly do that with a bolt on bag kit and lowering spindles... It should be coil rear. If you are wanting to lay frame, then youll need to channel the rear frame...

yea the 72 should still be 2 link rear with coils, so you could go as simple as pulling the springs and going back with bags, although there would be massive change in pinion angle throughout the range of motion of the rear, so that must be dealt with also to have correct pinion angle at ride height

front would take some more fab work such as relocating shocks like said above and putting bags in place of the springs, or going back with "shockwaves" -bags with a shock already inside, all depends on how low he wants to go with it
