What is the other side look like? Is it a bolt boss?

Just a nub. No bolt hole. That would have made it easy.

Stole this from the internet.... If that is the case it looks like at one time it had a hole there. I'd guess yes you can cut it off.

It is. I guess I can always just start and if gear oil starts pouring out I'll know

Hey if it does start to leak then you could get a Lomax gear set and case. If they still make them.....It is. I guess I can always just start and if gear oil starts pouring out I'll know

What do you know, Glenn. There was a hole in it.
Guess is what dark and I couldn't see it. Lights help. And now I've got to go wash my face off. Even with all that stuff on I got it all over me.
