Can i go A/C less?

I have a 99 jeep cherokee with the 4.0L I6. My A/C compressor has a blown clutch and makes the most horrible sound. Is it possible to buy a different belt and bypass the compressor until i can afford to replace the A/C or am i screwed? I appreciate any help or other ideas, thank you

they sell a bypass pulley so you can use the same belt

you can also just replace the clutch assembly, did this on my wifes and works great, about $150.
