Okay I've got a 1990 bronco with dana 44 SAS up front and an 8.8 in the rear. here's my question, if i put a 10.25 in the rear can i fit a 8-lug 15 inch rim over that drum and later on if I DANA 60 the front can I fit some 15 inch rims over those calipers? grinding, backspacing? anything would help....Stu

I am running 15x8 inch wheels with 2.75" BS on a 78 D60 with the stock dual piston calipers. The previous owner of the axle had done some grinding on the calpers and mounting bracket for clearance. I had to do a little more light grinding to fit my wheels. Overall, not a tremendous amount of material has been removed. Not like a few pics I have seen on the net anyway. There have been numerous posts about this subject on pirate4x4. I would search over there if want more info. I have no idea on the 10.25 rear. I am running a 14 bolt with discs.

Ive got 15" rims with 3.5" backspacing on Ford dual piston fronts and Chevy big single piston calipers in the rear. The chevys took more grinding than the Fords. I would say 15 min a piece on the Fords. Its very doable. I have pictures on my other computer if you remind me to send them to you this evening.
