you can try to go anywhere you want, you can also get stuck. with a stock tacoma, yes you can go in mud. deep mud? depends on your definition, but I'm going to have to go with no on that one.

take someone else with you for when the inevitable stuck happens, and make sure youre doing it somewhere legal. just cause you see mud from the side of the road, doesn't make it legal, like some people seem to think.

yes you can go into very very very deep mud. make sure you turn the switch to the 4x4 position(also know as the deep mud option).
