We have rescheduled the cancer benefit ride @ The Flats OffRoad Park due to bad weather. It will be on May 29-31st. Gates open at 9am Friday. The park is located in Marion N.C. off of I-40 at exit 85. The park can be found on Google Maps. Search The Flats Marion N.C. This is a open invite! Like us on Facebook!

We will have a SHORT COURSE HILL CLIMB RACE @ 2pm sponsored by M and M Off Road! **See SCHCC @ The Flats Offroad Park in upcoming events for rules and info!

There will also be a huge raffle after the SCHCC for all types of 4x4 parts from top name vendors. Tickets will be $1

Then we will also have our 1st legit Mudsling following the raffle! This will be action packed! **See mudsling @ The Flats Offroad Park for rules and info!

Fees are:
1 day ride $15 per rig $10 per person
2-3 day ride $15 per rig $15 per person & $5 per person for camping
NO ALCOHOL & NO 4 WHEELERS

Hey we're coming again!!! Can i get some Camping information. Price, how it works, and where permitted. The wife wants to camp (and of course me) so she can be even more comfortable during our trip, hopefully meet some people, hang out and BBQ, and allow me to play more while she just hang out with our little girl. We had such a blast that we are already making plans to pickup camping gear and make even more fun out the trip and hopefully be more socially interactive with people...since camping usually brings that!! thanks for information and help.
 
oh, i think its really awesome to see the benefit cause and all the people donating for this. if i was able to financially support any funds i def would and will in the future when blessed with the opportunity to do so. Thank you to all who support and donate to wonderful lives being saved/helped!! God Bless You all and Your Families and Businesses!!
 
Bought New Tent today, sleeping bag for the little girl, air mattress for the wife, i'm bringing the Grill, power inverter, chairs, coolers, WE ARE READY!!! and to think we have 25 days to go :( lol. Look forward to this big event to see all that is going on and all the races and stuff. I'm also looking forward to being in the Mud Sling Contest ...probably nothing close to winning lol...but just to have some mud fun since that's my favorite. Enjoy the spring weather guys and gals...see you in 3 weeks!!
 
hey are Gas Grills ok to bring for the campsite and also is it ok at night after park closes for those camping like us, to have a beer or two at our camp site or no? just want to make sure we are following camping and park rules. Thank You. (the gas grill was the only "odd" item i was bringing the rest is normal camping stuff, lol)
 
thank you for clearing that up! glad i asked now. boy am i super exited to camp out all weekend!! can't wait for the mud pit run too.

I'm assuming this is also an "open ride" weekend as well. No reason we can't night ride either night?

Got a prior commitment Saturday night but will come up Friday after work, wheel hard from then till sat afternoon.

Going to try and get a novice wheeler up there to train on all the driving and recovery techniques that we take for granted.

that's cool!!! i have couple local friends who i'm trying to bring also who would really benefit from the experience and learning some off-road basic maneuvers. the whole "green" route everywhere is a great way for beginners to learn to move around then play on some obstacles. I hope i can get them to come.
 
OH, is anyone from Mayodan NC area coming to this event or u guys know anyone you could point me to that is coming from around that area (a member is selling some wide wheels for great price and looking for a pickup to bring that would be on their route already) thanks for any help.
 
Getting close now.... Can't wait. This is going to be an epic weekend of offroad fun.
 
almost time!!! quick question fellas: first time camping at The Flats and just wondering is it the wooded areas closest to highway side of the upper and lower parking areas that's for camping or do you just kinda setup tent and such wherever "out of the way" type of deal. It appears this weekend will be VERY busy (compared to last month) and trying to get a scoop on camping sites before showing up Friday. thank u.
