Car for my mom

My mom is looking for a midsize SUV
As new and low miles as possible
$10k upper limit
Absolutely no smoking

A couple she has looked at so far are the Explorer
Enclave
Traverse
And a jeep latitude but she said it felt funny sitting in it (weird blind spots)

This would basically be a summer car around town as my parents winter over in Arizona and to travel to my sisters house (1.5 hrs).

She is looking down here to avoid a rust bucket.

My mom has an 06 CR-V SE Auto, 240K on it. I did a drain and fill and transfer-case/diff service on it soon as she got it(200K). Previous owners were not easy on it but its pretty hardy, engine and trans wise.

I also have a friend with an 06 Honda Element(same car different shape) he's nearing 380K engine and trans original, trans has never been serviced.

My wife has a 13 CRV which is the same generation as the linked one. She has around 250k on it with regular maintenance. Wouldn't hesitate to own another.

Just read up on the cvt. They seem decent in the Honda, but you want to make sure it's been serviced correctly. It started in 2015, so I'd stay older than that.
