Do any of you electrical gurus know of a good car stereo system wiring guide online? I've searched, and I can't find a thing that goes into any detail. Any help would be appreciated, I know a little about it, but I've got a complete system to hook up right now (amps, subs, 6x9's, 4 in. speakers, new head unit), and I need to find out what I need, and how to do it.

You'll need RCA cables to go from stereo head unit to amps. Head unit should have same number of sets on the back as you have amps to hook up. Then you should just be able to follow the diagrams in the instructions that came with the equipment. You won't use any of the head units speaker wires unless you've got more speaker sets than amps. I.E. Got four speakers (two sets) and two amps you won't use any of the head units speaker connections. Also don't forget to hook up the blue wire from the head unit to the amps to turn them on. this will also power a power antenna if you've got one. Power from the amps should be fuse and run directly to the battery terminal to prevent interferance. Other than that, it's pretty well explained in the insructions. (It's not very manly to read the instructions, I know, but it prevents things from catching fire.)

thanks for the help and suggestions. I bought the system used, and no directions were provided. I've got a pretty good idea of what I have to do, and what I need. Thanks again.
