Carb problems on a 22r motor

Just brought a new project truck and I can't give it a lot of gas or it will act like it is going to cut off I have to ease into it. Just wanted to know if there is a easy way to tune it or just get one that I know that is working right.

I've never worked on a Yota, but it sounds like it could be a faulty accelerator pump.

I'm not sure there is an easy way to tune a carb. I think you just keep messing with it till it runs good. Don't know for sure. I'm just glad mine is adjusted right.

Well I messed with it all day and can't get it to run right, so I guess I'm going to look for a weber carb.
