i blew my d300....literally. It was one of those you had to be there situations to believe what I was doing to blow the t/case, the end result was I cracked the t/case in half and self destructed the gears inside.
A little hard to see, but if you look at the littler intermediate gear, its totally stripped and the rear 2wd gear is totally stripped of its teeth.
And I thought the tailshaft was supposed to be the weak link of a d300???
