Anybody been to one of them?? They have one in the fall and spring.

Yes I have. It was all antiques when I went a couple years ago but they are trying to add old cars now. If you like pickin' it's a cool thing to do. And when I say antiques, I mean a lot of old stuff, not just old furniture. It's well worth a days time to check it out.
It was not at Denton when I went though, it was at their old location.

It's too far of a drive for me but I'd love to see it. I'd be tempted to even rent a booth.

We have a spot and will be there, just wondering what to expect.

From the description, it looks like a blast. The ones I've been to were down around the low country of SC.
All I can say is, you're about to see some of the coolest old stuff you've ever seen in your life. Keep a few hundred bucks on ya just in case.

We do 4-5 sales like that a year so weā€™ve seen it over and over again. Just mainly wondering about the crowd and the location. The stuff we want/ like is usually more than a few hundred unfortunately.

@1-tonmudder I told the old dude that I work with about it. He said he's probably going to go because it's the only event they have there that he's never been to.

Every time I read this thread title I think it says Carolina Packers. Like the hot dogs šŸ˜‚

Went last year, pretty good turnout... we enjoyed it.
I hope so.Were taking tonya's tahoe w a 6 X12 enclosed and both will be loaded and I'll be pulling a 18 foot enclosed that'll be loaded too. It's a little over 200 miles for us but it;s four hours so Im assuming its a lot of in town or back road driving.

We went to the one they had 4/5 years ago in Salisbury (?) but our schedule hasn't allowed for us to go back. This will be our first trip to Denton.

At the vfw lot in Salisbury ??
No, it was at their farm but I was mistaken, It was the Tarheel Antiques Festival at Lloyds Farm in Eflan, NC, it was last weekend. Sorry for the confusion. We may go to this one though. Lots of great stuff and we go pickin' several times per year.

They had at least two at the VFW in Salisbury IIRC,We went to the second one they had there. That sale fell on the weekend before a week long sale we do every year.We loaded up on Sat afternoon after the sale was over, drove home Sat night.unloaded and reloaded on Sun and left on Monday and were gone for a week.It was just too much so we havent done it since then. But that sale was in late July.
